Making mentoring more accessible than ever
Raise Online has all the benefits of mentoring, without any of the travel
Raise Online is a flexible option to connect young people and mentors all over the country.
We’re making mentoring accessible for all young people and easier for mentors through Raise Online – our online mentoring program.
Mentees and mentors can find a time that suits them regardless of location, schedule, and time commitments. The mentee simply logs in from school with the help of the Raise Program Counsellor – just like they do in-person. It’s flexible, cuts out travel time, and allows anyone to be a mentor – right from their desk, even if they work from home.
Raise Online creates endless possibilities and expands connections across the country – now a mentee in Cootamundra can be matched with a mentor in Melbourne. Wherever you're based, however remote your location – all you need to be able to do is join online on a day and time that works for you.

For just 2 hours a week, mentors create a safe space for a young person to grow and thrive, learning essential skills that will equip them for life.
Raise Online is facilitated on a safe, secure Zoom platform where 10–12 young people from one school are each matched with a volunteer mentor and together they participate in 20 supported online mentoring sessions.
Students connect from within the school setting, supported by a school contact. Mentors and a Raise Program Counsellor join remotely (occasionally the PC may be on-site at the school).
Mentoring sessions are 2 hours each week, 1 hour mentoring a young person and 1 hour mentor support. All sessions are delivered and supervised by a Raise Program Counsellor.
